Endodontics

Endodontics is the area of Dental Medicine responsible for the treatment of the pulp (nerve) and periapical tissues.

Endodontics (devitalization) consists of removing the pulp tissue (nerve), in situations of extensive caries, bacterial infection, dental fractures, among others.
